YC-backed Atomarine builds floating data centers to solve the compute crunch

Atomarine, a current YC batch startup, is building next-generation AI infrastructure deployed at sea — claiming the most scalable, cheapest and most climate-friendly standalone compute on Earth, aimed at meeting demand for compute that is becoming impossible to satisfy. The team has reportedly been living on a barge to test GPU infrastructure at sea, moving unusually fast.
