teortaxesTex · x · 2026-08-20
DeepSeek's open-source agent framework Harness released RC.8 with significant updates:
- Modular Config: Claude Code and Codex are now installable as independent Profile Bundles.
- Codex Enhancements: Supports non-interactive permission mode for automation and allows multiple named instances within a single workflow.
- Multimodal Input: Core commands like /goal and /plan accept images directly; the @ menu references local files and history.
- Tool Calling: websearch supports concurrent search; sub-agents can return results to wake up the parent agent.
- Windows Support: Adds persistent PowerShell sessions.
