Cursor adds /cloud and /local commands for environment switching
mattyp · x · 2026-08-20
Cursor introduced /cloud and /local commands, allowing users to switch environments by forking the current chat. For cloud tasks, use /local to pull them down to your machine; for local tasks, run /cloud to push them up to a cloud agent. The entire environment moves with the chat, ensuring no changes or work are lost during the switch.
