Dev builds MVP that auto-routes tasks between Codex and Claude models on-device
talkaboutdesign · x · 2026-08-20
Developer @talkaboutdesign demoed an MVP that automatically routes tasks to the best Codex or Claude model, using private on-device intake, smart clarifying questions, quota-aware policies and adaptive reasoning, while keeping manual controls for power users. A video shows two prompts auto-switching between two models. The author is also wiring in Apple's new macOS Foundation Models for on-device assistance, aiming to remove model-selection complexity entirely.
