poolside Laguna XS 2.1 now runs locally via MLX-optimized omlx integration
TheMoonMidas · x · 2026-08-20
eigenlabs has integrated the MLX fast-optimized poolside Laguna XS 2.1 runner into omlx, so you can now run it locally via the latest omlx:main version or wait for the next official release. The port and merge were done quickly by 0xClandestine and the omlx team.
This also means any software sourcing kernels and runners from omlx can pick up these optimizations easily. The team invites interested maintainers to reach out for a more structured delivery flow.
