After reporting a massive decline in ChatGPT's reliance on Reddit, speculation tied it to Reddit-OpenAI negotiations. But further investigation shows all social media domains have lost citation share across the board.
Notably, branded YouTube channels and YouTube influencer programs are among the biggest AEO wins observed—above-board and genuinely helpful. The team isn't recommending major strategy changes yet since visibility remains constant, and suggests watching for another week.
