MPA Strikes Deal with ByteDance to Protect IP in AI Video/Image Models

The Motion Picture Association (MPA) and ByteDance signed a memorandum of understanding to protect film and TV IP across ByteDance's AI generative products, including Seedance and Seedream. This follows a cease-and-desist letter from the MPA earlier this year over Seedance 2.0 riffs on actors like Brad Pitt.
