IJCAI 2026 has released its invited talk schedule, featuring key topics on AI regulation and agency:
- EU AI Act: Jeroen Delfos from the European Commission will deliver a talk on shaping the future of safe AI, detailing specific regulatory frameworks.
- Social Dimensions of Agentic AI: Nick Jennings (VC of Loughborough University) will trace the evolution of AI agents. He argues the next frontier lies in engineering the "social dimensions" of intelligence—focusing on cooperation, coordination, and collective decision-making among multi-agent systems and human-AI partnerships.
