AI寒武纪 · wechat · 2026-08-20
DeepSeekHarness released version RC.8, significantly enhancing multimodal capabilities and allowing ClaudeCode and Codex to be installed and used as sub-agents (ProfileBundle).
Key Updates:
- Multimodal Enhancements: Supports native image requests; /goal and /plan commands accept image-text input; @menu supports referencing files.
- Sub-agent Integration: ClaudeCode and Codex can be installed as sub-agents. Codex supports non-interactive permission modes and multiple named instances.
- Terminal Experience: Windows PTY supports persistent PowerShell sessions; minimal mode defaults to support issue fixing.
- Performance: Improved SQLite backend read/write and fork performance, reduced storage size, and optimized latency for forking large history sessions.
- Tooling: Python SDK covers built-in Agent presets, integrating rg/glob search and MCP stdio tool dependencies.
