Ornith Lab released the Ornith 1.5 series, featuring a 9B dense model (with vision) and a 35B-A3B MoE model. Both are MIT-licensed and trained on a self-task-generating loop.
AtomicChat released AD (Atomic Dynamic) quantizations for both, providing detailed benchmarks against stock llama.cpp quants:
Ornith-1.5-9B Highlights:
- AD-Q80-Q6K (8.55GB) achieves 97.46% Top-1 accuracy while being smaller than Q80.
- AD-IQ3S-IQ3XXS (4.29GB) maintains 83.44% Top-1 accuracy at extreme compression.
Ornith-1.5-35B-A3B Highlights:
- AD-Q6K-Q5K (26.25GB) outperforms stock Q6K with 94.85% Top-1 accuracy.
- AD-Q4K-IQ4XS (20.13GB) gains 1.7% accuracy over Q4KM at a similar size.
