Cursor released a significant update enhancing its cloud agents and workflow capabilities.
Key Features:
- /goal Command: Assigns a long-lived objective to the agent until it is fully met.
- Subscriptions: Cloud agents can monitor PRs, watch Slack threads, or run scheduled tasks, waking up when events occur.
- Custom Modes: Pin specific skills to keep agents focused, acting as "always-on" capabilities.
- Isolated Subagents: Subagents can now run on separate virtual machines with isolated project copies for testing or swarming fixes without collisions.
- Automated PRs: Agents can automatically drive PRs to completion, fixing CI issues and addressing bot comments.
