Confirming prior leaks and speculation, @chetanp stated that OpenRouter is set to be acquired by Stripe. The deal aims to create an AI intelligence optimization layer between applications and models. OpenRouter founder @alexatallah had the early vision that routing—selecting the right model for the right API request—would be crucial.
