Stripe Acquires AI Model Router OpenRouter

Stripe has officially acquired OpenRouter, an AI model routing platform. The deal comes nearly 3 years after OpenRouter's founding and marks one of the fastest acquisitions of this scale in history. Financial terms were not disclosed. OpenRouter addresses the fragmentation of AI models for developers, and this acquisition strengthens Stripe's position in AI infrastructure.
