NileAGI Releases NILEAGI-SUB for Swahili Language Understanding Evaluation

NileAGI introduced NILEAGI-SUB, a Swahili language evaluation program addressing gaps in existing multilingual benchmarks. The first release, SUB-MCQ EDUCATION, features 2,569 expert-reviewed school questions evaluating eight compact open models (2B-5B). Results show that model size alone doesn't explain performance. Code and dataset are public.
