Devin is now powerful enough, Cognition says only user ambition limits usage

Cognition co-founder Scott Wu shared that their AI coding agent, Devin, has finally reached the envisioned capability level. The team aimed to provide an infinite army of junior engineers; while the initial launch in 2024 was premature, Wu states Devin is now good enough. The only remaining constraint is how ambitious users are willing to be with it.
