Konstantin Pilz and Saif M. Khan announced the launch of the Center for Technology & Statecraft (CTS), a non-partisan policy research initiative in Washington, DC. CTS aims to address unexplored AI policy challenges through technical and forward-looking research. Initial focuses include shaping policy for virtual and physical automation over the next decade and managing long-term geopolitical AI competition. The founders believe AI's impact will rival the Neolithic and Industrial Revolutions, noting that current policy lags behind technical progress.
