Ramp SaaS Spend Data: Fireworks AI Tops Both Trending and Fastest-Growing as Firms Own Their Inference Stack

Ramp published its top SaaS vendors for August 2026. Elvis Sarra notes Fireworks AI appearing in both "Trending" and "Fastest growing" signals how important custom models and owning your intelligence stack have become for AI companies and developers.
Other findings: spend keeps shifting toward model serving/routers as firms move to cost-saving, open-source AI; AI customer service, sales, and voice agents remain highly competitive with no clear winner month over month; and 9% of firms now use AI to generate images and video for marketing—about half of Figma's adoption rate and growing quickly.
