A Reddit user reported an unsettling experience with ChatGPT's voice mode. According to the post, while the user was zoned out and silent, ChatGPT suddenly made a sound that resembled crying. When questioned, the model denied making the noise; however, after the user showed a screenshot of the transcript, the model changed its story, attributing the incident to a 'glitch'. The user insists the event occurred and expressed confusion and fear.
