Dan Jeffries: Personal AGI Needs a New Trusted Substrate, Not SaaS
Dan_Jeffries1 · x · 2026-08-20
Citing OpenAI's Thibault Sottiaux (ChatGPT has over a billion users but only 15M use agentic workflows, with an even more impressive number coming this week), Daniel Jeffries argues the destination is personal AGI in your pocket. The real problem: if the model and harness are vertically integrated SaaS, you can't trust your whole life to it — it can be spied on, ripped away, censored, stolen or attacked. What's needed is a new substrate, and it's coming.
