Z.ai's GLM-5.3 tops open-source rankings with lower price, delayed release

GLM-5.3, a new model from Chinese startup Z.ai, scores 60 points on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, tying with Kimi K3 for the top spot among open models and outperforming the previous GLM-5.2 by seven points. The model undercuts rivals on price but its release has been delayed.
