DIY robot U-BOT day 20: arm height happens to match battery on its side
_Stocko_ · x · 2026-08-19
Day 20 update in a robot DIY build: the maker adjusted U-BOT's arm height to better support tool changing, then realized that height is exactly that of the battery laid on its side. That means the entire top can now become a platform for tools — a two-birds-one-stone layout win.
A nice example of iterative structure optimization in an independent robotics build.
