Anthropic says a scientist access program is a top priority; Opus 5 leads life science work

Anthropic stated that launching an access program letting scientists use its most capable models remains one of its highest priorities, with more details expected soon. Opus 5 is currently its most capable model available for life science research. Researcher Jeremy Nguyen responded, urging the program to be open to researchers worldwide, not just the US.
