ComfyUI MCP Local Open Source: Connect Agents to Local GPU

ComfyUI announced the open-sourcing of its local MCP server, enabling agents like Claude and Cursor to connect directly to local ComfyUI environments. The agent can read local hardware specs, manage model files, detect custom nodes, and intelligently choose whether to run workflows locally or in the cloud based on the task requirements.
