China's National Supercomputing Network offers tokens 8x cheaper than DeepSeek
teortaxesTex · x · 2026-08-19
China's National Supercomputing Internet (SCNet) launched a Token Plan costing 30 RMB/month for 60,000 Credits. Calculations show that running DeepSeek V4-Flash via this plan is 8.3x, 5x, and 7.5x cheaper than DeepSeek's official pricing for cached hits, input, and output respectively. V4-Pro also sees significant discounts. SCNet acts as a national aggregator integrating supercomputing and model resources to offer lower rates, effectively functioning as a state subsidy for AI developers.
