ColaMD 1.9.0 has been released, an open-source "Agent-native" Markdown editor designed for both humans and AI agents.
Key Updates:
- Word Export: Supports exporting to .docx while preserving formatting (headers, lists, code blocks, images).
- Image Export: Auto-splits long images for easy sharing on social media.
- PDF Polish: Export follows the current theme without white margins.
- Outline Mode: A sidebar table of contents for navigating long documents.
UX Improvements:
- Auto-save enabled.
- Built-in auto-update and Changelog popup.
- 12 new themes added (including 6 dark themes).
It features real-time sync when AI agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) edit the file.
