Shenzhen startup unveils firefighting robot dog with 60m-range water cannon and wheeled legs

Shenzhen embodied-intelligence startup ASTRALL Dynamics has unveiled Hypertron-T01, a heavy-duty quadruped firefighting platform carrying an integrated high-pressure water cannon into fires humans can't enter. Its wheeled legs let it both walk and roll; the cannon delivers 20 L/s at up to 60m range with a 120-degree arc. Specs include an 80kg dynamic payload, IP67 sealing, 8-hour runtime, 45-degree slope climbing, -20 to 55°C operation, thermal imaging, gas detection, 3D LiDAR, and the ability to drag its own supply hose. It's teleoperated, not autonomous.
Scobleizer adds that specialized robots will far outnumber humanoids, but the humanoid is what makes him dream — though it's great to see robots helping people.
