Xi'an Jiaotong University proposes QQWorld to improve world model prediction robustness via quantile matching
jiqizhixin · x · 2026-08-19
Researchers from Xi'an Jiaotong University introduced QQWorld, a new method to fix learning defects in AI planners' internal "world models". By using a smarter ranking trick, the method forces model predictions to align closely with a normal distribution, specifically optimizing for rare edge cases. Experiments show it outperforms the previous LeWM method across 4 control environments, significantly boosting planning success rates and yielding cleaner, more reliable AI behavior.
