UC Berkeley math professor Zvezdelina Stankova's op-ed advocating for the return of SAT/ACT requirements was flagged as 33% AI-generated or AI-assisted by detector Pangram. A similar pattern was found in a June open letter signed by thousands of academics, including five Nobel laureates, which was partially written by Stankova.
