Vercel Labs has released and open sourced fx, a native coding agent written in Zig. Key features include extreme performance and lightness: 10µs cold start, a 6.3MiB binary, and single-digit MB memory usage. It supports structured output, ACP, and WebAssembly, designed for research or embedding in resource-constrained environments.
