Deft Launches AI Writing Lab Focused on Human-Like Output Quality
soumitrashukla9 · x · 2026-08-19
New AI lab Deft has launched its eponymous writing model, aiming to improve AI writing quality. The lab claims that 86% of user queries are currently detected as fully human-written. As a small beta model, it may still make mistakes, prompting a public beta to gather feedback before scaling. Deft currently performs better in use cases like Analysis/Essays, Creative writing, and Rewrites, but less well for Marketing copy and news art. Users are advised to add more details to prompts and change styles for better performance.
