User analysis reveals that Grok Bot is essentially a managed VM (Virtual Machine) agent control.
Advantages:
- Secure and works out of the box
- Very good computer use capabilities
- Supports Cursor plugins
- Has a mobile app
The author notes that you could also just give Grok Bot access to your own VM. They haven't seen Codex or Claude control the browser the way Grok Bot does.
