Recent Codex update broke subagents; rolling back to 0.142.0 works

A Reddit user reports that a recent OpenAI Codex change broke subagent functionality: PR #29067 now requires a namespace for subagent-related tool calls, leaving a number of models unable to use subagents.
Two issues (#31864, #31882) track the regression; the workaround is downgrading to codex-cli 0.142.0, which works fine.
