Perplexity Adds US-Hosted DeepSeek V4 Pro with High Cost-Performance

Perplexity has launched DeepSeek V4 Pro, hosted in the U.S., within Perplexity Computer.
Evaluated on the WANDR benchmark, the model scored 0.359 at $0.75 per task. Perplexity claims it is 62% cheaper than the next model on the cost-performance frontier.
