Google's experimental Gmail agent CC expands to Australia and NZ, gains calendar management

Google Labs' experimental Gmail AI productivity agent CC has opened a waitlist in Australia and New Zealand, while expanding availability in the US and Canada — existing waitlist users are being rolled out invitations now.
The upgrade lets CC manage your calendar: connected to Gmail, it automatically creates events in a dedicated Google Calendar and keeps them up to date as things change. CC's original features include a daily "Your Day Ahead" briefing in the inbox and on-demand email assistance.
