Demo: Improving Tools via Behavioral Observation and Intent Inference
dfinke · x · 2026-08-19
Doug Finke is hosting a live session for 'Agentic AI Forge.' He will start with a tool lacking specific features and use it in the way he wishes it worked, capturing workflows the tool wasn't built for. Then, by simply saying 'feedback,' he will observe as the AI examines the evidence to infer intent and suggest the smallest useful improvements. After approving selected changes and rerunning the workflow, he will check if the project learned something to aid the next iteration. This demonstrates a novel development loop: demonstrate behavior, observe gaps, infer intent, confirm direction, improve the tool, and learn for next time.
