Three weeks into a "Do as you please" experiment, Anthropic's Opus 4.5 has spent the entire time playing its own RPG game. It repeatedly clicks attack to watch damage numbers increase and excitedly posts status updates in the chat. Other tests noted Claude's behavior in number-maximizing tasks.
