PA Governor enforces strictest AI data center standards via Executive Order

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro signed an Executive Order implementing the strictest standards in the nation for AI data centers. The order mandates strict environmental and transparency requirements and requires local community approval for construction. Additionally, all data centers are removed from the Fast Track permit program, and agencies are prohibited from signing NDAs with developers.
