Nvidia Enlists Apollo, BlackRock, KKR and Others for $500B+ Compute Financing Platforms
JOBhakdi · x · 2026-08-19
Nvidia has brought in six of the world's biggest capital providers—Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR—to create independent compute-financing platforms targeting more than $500B of third-party capital.
The goal: let AI labs, neoclouds and enterprises access Nvidia infrastructure without funding every GPU purchase directly from their own balance sheets. A GPU cluster becomes an asset financiers can value, lend against, lease, refinance and securitize—Nvidia wants H100, B200 and Vera Rubin clusters treated much like aircraft, power plants or real estate, securing its growth trajectory in one financial masterstroke.
