Open Source 'Casa Toscana': Generating 3D Florentine Streets with Grok and Claude
jasonkneen · x · 2026-08-19
Casa Toscana is an open-source experiment that procedurally generates a 3D Florentine street entirely in code. The workflow transforms a photo of Tuscany into a building character sheet using Grok, then builds the 3D street and components with the help of Claude and Codex. Built with React Three Fiber, it features no imported models, generated geometry, and supports multiple camera views and first-person exploration.
