After GitHub's outage, open-source alt-p2p-lore serves repos over encrypted P2P

Riding the conversation around GitHub's big outage, open-source alt-p2p-lore offers an alternative: your machine is the server.
- It tunnels Epic Games' Lore VCS (built for the huge art/audio/3D binaries Git chokes on) over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection;
- Direct UDP hole-punching with DTLS encryption, falling back to a TCP relay; the coordinator only introduces peers and never sees repo data;
- Teammates use the stock lore CLI or Desktop to clone, commit, push and sync — no public IP or port forwarding needed, validated on real hardware.
The pitch: your team's ability to share work shouldn't depend on someone else's uptime.
