Merge Launches Model Router, Slashing Enterprise AI Spend by 75%

Merge launched "Merge for Workforce" to tackle enterprise AI cost overruns. The tool allows IT departments to set model routing policies by team and enforce them via a desktop client across all AI tools. By routing tasks to appropriate models instead of always using frontier ones, Merge claims to reduce token usage by 75x while improving speed and quality.
