Anthropic reportedly testing Fable 5 successor on subset of Claude accounts

According to @synthwavedd, described as one of the most reliable AI leakers, a successor to Fable 5 — likely Fable 5.1 or 5.5 — is being tested on a subset of accounts that selected "Fable 5" on Claude Web, and possibly Claude Code.
Fable 5 underwent the same greyscale testing earlier on the day of its broader release, and Anthropic regularly runs such pre-launch tests, so an official launch may be very close. Unconfirmed.
