Einride brings 500 Tesla Semis to North America, all managed by its Saga AI platform

Swedish electric freight company Einride is bringing 500 Tesla Semi trucks into its North American freight network — a major commercial deployment at real scale:
- First deployments start September 2026, full rollout over 24 months
- Serving Amazon and other Einride customers across California, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois and Georgia
- The deal roughly triples Einride's deployed electric truck fleet
- All 500 Semis will be integrated into Einride's Saga AI platform, which manages and optimizes electric freight operations
The poster notes that Tesla Semi has so far mostly seen small, limited fleets — this marks a move into commercial freight operations at a completely different scale.
