Stable Audio 3.0 gets a DAW plugin and iterative web studio, free for commercial use
Stability AI · rss · 2026-08-18
Stability AI ships two new ways to work with Stable Audio 3.0:
- DAW plugin (macOS AU/VST3, Apple Silicon and Intel; works with Logic Pro and Ableton Live): generate audio directly on a track, sync to session BPM, choose length up to six minutes, and save multiple takes in a playlist to compare.
- Enhanced web app: iterate after the first generation with natural-language direction, audio-to-audio variations, per-track mixing controls and effects, plus part bouncing and mix export.
Both run on commercially safe models — users own their outputs and can distribute them freely. Currently in beta with some experimental features.
