Vector Institute Opens 20 Faculty Affiliate Positions in AI, Agents, and Robotics

The Vector Institute in Toronto is accepting applications for its Faculty Affiliate program, offering approximately 20 three-year positions. Open to Ontario faculty, the program targets core AI research areas such as fundamental ML, generative models, physical AI, and agentic systems, as well as AI applications in energy, transportation, and robotics. Affiliates gain access to dedicated computing infrastructure, industry partnerships, and a community of over 1,480 researchers. Applications close on September 14, 2026.
