AI server demand polarizes MLCC lead times, high-end hits 10 months
zephyr_z9 · x · 2026-08-18
Korean media report a sharp divergence in MLCC lead times driven by AI server demand. While standard products remain stable at 3.5–4.5 months, high-capacitance, high-end parts used in AI servers have stretched to 4–5 months, with some approaching 10 months. Murata's strategy involves cutting low-end prices to fend off Chinese/Taiwanese competition while raising high-end prices.
