DeepSeek releases open-source Harness framework for self-evolving agents
TheTuringPost · x · 2026-08-18
DeepSeek released DeepSeek Harness under an MIT license, a full stack transforming models into agents with tools, memory, and execution loops. Built on the idea that "everything is a plugin," it allows agents to generate temporary tools on-the-fly to meet needs. This creates a self-evolving loop without retraining, challenging the idea that agent infrastructure must be a closed moat.
