Pilot Harness: A Ready-to-Use Desktop Client for DeepSeek Harness
op7418 · x · 2026-08-18
The author released Pilot Harness, a ready-to-use desktop client based on DeepSeek Harness, designed to provide a better UI and interaction experience. The project consists of three main plugins:
- UI & Interaction Optimization: Fixes display and interaction issues inherent in DeepSeek Harness.
- File Tree Plugin: Provides a project file tree on the right side of the chat interface, allowing quick file addition to the conversation or direct opening.
- Model Provider & Management Plugin: Separates model management from provider management, streamlines the addition process, and adds icons and descriptions for better clarity.
Users can use the client directly or install individual plugins into their own DeepSeek Harness environment. The author integrated assets previously developed in Codepilot into these plugins.
