BlackHC · x · 2026-08-18
The Google Scanned Objects dataset — high-quality 3D scans of 1,030 common household items — is now on Hugging Face in WebDataset format. Each object ships with original mesh/material/texture, five render thumbnails, structured metadata, and a normalized trimesh-built GLB for direct use in 3D pipelines such as TRELLIS-2 fine-tuning.
- 43 shards, works with loaddataset and streaming (no full download needed)
- GLB loads as a Mesh feature and renders in the dataset viewer
- CC-BY-4.0 license, 4K textures, OBJ meshes, rich metadata
