The role focuses on investigating how AI transforms economic value, work, firms, and markets. Key research questions include the first-principles valuation of AI infrastructure, the distribution of economic surplus, and AI's long-term impact on wages and productivity. The Fellow will translate frontier economic theory into empirical insights using imperfect data within tight deadlines. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Economics (MPhil minimum) with strong applied skills and prior engagement with AI economics. The paid Fellowship lasts six to twelve months.
